CURFEW TO HELL.

Curfews and cessation of movements could be resulting into reverse effects on Covid-19 transmission.

Kenyan economy is primarily dependant on small scale traders who interact closely and repeatedly during the course of the day. You may want to visit Gikomba and verify this for yourself.

When the government limits the day from 24 hours to 16 hours or there about, it is increasing the rate at which Kenyans are colliding and interacting with each other.

The time is limited and everyone is looking for a way to survive, you cannot afford to procrastinate lest you're caught by curfew. In the process, more people come so close and increase exposure to Covid-19.

Cessation of movement restricts a very large population to interact closely and repeatedly within a smaller area and under tighter schedule.

This has an effect of increasing exposure. Look at our interactions during the day.

In my view, I'd prefer, open up the economy. Let every business person adhere to all the rules necessary to mitigate the disease.

Let every person prioritize his own health and plan his day without pressure of curfew or extent of movement.

There are things you'd rather do at night if you feel you'll be exposing yourself so much during the day.

Likewise, there are sparsely populated areas, you'd be concentrating in rather than being restricted in one populous area.

With 24 hours to move around, we're giving people maximum time to trade and optimize on money circulation while being conscious with their healths.
